Do you like working with people? Would you like to operate a real old fashioned trolley? How about being a Tour Guide and sharing our story with our visitors? The Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport Maine needs volunteer Operators, Conductors and Tour Guides one or two days per week from May through October. The Museum will provide the appropriate educational training for each position. Operators will be trained to run the restored trolley cars and carry the visiting public. Conductors will be provided with training and suggested scripts for guides. Persons who enjoy exploring history or the social impact of technology particularly take pleasure from the training and becoming a significant part of this interactive living history Museum.Training Dates: April 24 & 25th 1999, 9am to 5pm. Dress is casual. Please bring you own lunch. The cost is $15 for class materials and the Operators Rule Book. You also must become a member of the New England Electric Railway Historical Society ($30). Advance registration is appreciated so we can have the proper materials prepared.

The Seashore Trolley Museum has been operated by the New England Electric Railway Historical Society since 1939 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit educational institution. The Museum will reopen for its 60th season May 1, 1999.
