The City of Lowell,

have joined together to establish:

Operation Rail (Op Rail )

 

Operation Rail

The City of Lowell, the Lowell National Historical Park and The Seashore Trolley Museum have joined together to establish Operation Rail (Op Rail ) a national educational and promotional event that promotes transit nationwide and is dedicated to the historic preservation of the nation’s premier collection of vintage electric trolley cars; scholarship and transportation educational career programs; and transportation assistance programs.  For more information contact: Linda King (978) 446-7154.

The Seashore Trolley Museum will reopen for the 2001 season, on May 5, 2001.  Hours will be from 10am to 5pm on week-ends and holidays, until June 17, 2001, when the museum will be open daily for the summer 2001 season.

 

Admission to the Trolley Museum is $7.25 for adults, $5.25 for seniors, and $4.75 for ages 6 to 16, for unlimited rides and full museum access all day. Children 5 and under are free.
