Arundel, MAINE – the third annual Arundel Day is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st from 10 am to 4 pm at the Seashore Trolley Museum. Admission is FREE for all residents of Arundel and is open to all others for a special admission fee of $5 for adults, children age 14 & under are FREE.
Fabulous daylong entertainment has been planned including; of course, trolley rides to Talbot Park on the historic streetcars. This special day will also feature: live entertainment, children’s games, pony rides, dunk tank, Renzo the clown, face painting, K-9 demonstration and fingerprinting by York County Sheriff Departments, student exhibits, magic shows demonstrations, Moonwalk, puppet shows, karate demonstrations, door prizes, raffles and more.
The Trolley Museum, working with the Arundel School Department has arranged for special bus service starting at 9:45am and running every 15 to 20 minutes. Guests may park at one of three convenient locations: the Mildred L. Day School, the Arundel Barn Playhouse and the Limerick Road Business Park. FREE Arundel Day T-Shirts will be given to children who ride this special bus to the event, while supplies last.
There will be a Pancake Breakfast at the MLD School from 7am to 11am. And the American Red Cross be at the MLD School from 8 to 11am, the Pancake Breakfast is free to all donors!
The May Day Music Festival to Benefit the School Around Us will also be at the Seashore Trolley Museum that day and Arundel Day Patrons can attend the eight live musical performances for only $8 (Regular fee is $10).
The Seashore Trolley Museum is the world’s oldest & largest museum of mass transit vehicles and is home to the National Historic Collection of American Streetcars. This transportation history museum offers a nostalgic journey into the past and a living memory of the grand trolley era for all ages to enjoy.
