There will be a car wash at the Seashore Trolley Museum this Friday May 5th - a trolley car wash that is. The Mildred L Day Middle School sixth, seventh and eighth graders will be at the Seashore Trolley Museum from 10am to 2pm washing trolley cars to help the Seashore Trolley Museum prepare for its 61st season of operation.
This will be the third annual "car wash" by the 141 MLD Middle School Students and is part of their community service involvement. The students will rotate through several separate stations as they learn to care for the antique trolleys. They will be washing, sweeping cars, and dusting trolleys and will have an opportunity to tour the Restoration Shop, ride and even operate a trolley.
"We are excited to work with the students and pleased they continue their involvement at the Museum as we prepare for our grand opening," commented Seashore Trolley Museum Executive Director Phil Morse.
