MBTA #3424

Boston MBTA SLRV #3424 Fundraiser
The MBTA has retired all of its SLRV fleet, and has set aside #3424 for preservation. Moving costs, as in any acquisition is the hurdle we face, and with a kick-off of $1,000 from the Boston Street Railway Association. As we prepare to enter March of 2008, the moving fund has reached a point where the SLRV can be moved to Maine, but funds are still needed for the car to be pieced together. Any extra funds raised will be used for the general maintenance of the SLRV. Help us start preserving the next generation of streetcars with the addition of the SLRV to our collection.
