Ride on a restored electric streetcar over the Museum's railway through the scenic Maine woods. Mother Nature determines if there's snow or not on the ground, but we'll be in the holiday spirit. Take a break from hustle and bustle of the the holiday shopping and bring the family to enjoy wonderful ride. Don't worry if it's cold outside, our streetcars will be toasty warm and waiting for you. So come on by and unwind, trips on the railway are scheduled from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.
The Museum Store will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both weekends. The store features a huge selection of rail-related gifts, including books, toys, collectibles, videos and memorabilia. A large assortment of Corgi collectibles and a full selection of Take Along Thomas toys highlight the store's offerings. Holiday shopping is also available throughout the season by calling (207) 967-2712 or checking our online catalog.
Complimentary snacks, hot chocolate, hot cider, tea and coffee will be available for all visitors. Admission to the Museum Store and Visitors' Center is free, while admission for trolley rides is $4.00 per person.
